Enzimoterapia (Treatment) 1L
Dr. Therapy Enzimoterapia Treatment is a straightening 100% free of FORMALDEHYDE, with anti-frizz action. It is used for volume reduction, sealing and hair straightening resulting in a superior final finish, with more shine and naturalness to the hair. Dr. Therapy Enzyme Treatment presents high performance in all hair types and is a highly technological product, resulting in intensive repair that aims to replenish the amino acids and nutrients lost through chemical processes or natural wear, restoring the hair fiber.
Commercialized in more than 18 countries, Dr. Therapy Enzyme Treatment has ANVISA Grade 2 registration and EAC – European Certification, meeting all levels and product safety tests by national and international competent bodies. The brand does not conduct tests on animals and the products have a safety seal.
Its main active ingredient is the Pro.Liss® 100 and its formula is enriched with Bromelain, Blend of Noble Aminoacids, Silk Proteins, Collagen and Natural Oils (Ojon, Macadamia, Pracaxi, Copaiba, Sunflower, Jojoba, among others), therefore not only aiming the smoothness and softness of the hair but also to nourish, moisturize and give a superior finishing to your hair.
Pro.Liss® 100 was specially developed to be a safe alternative to the use of forbidden substances (Formaldehyde) or highly harmful to the hair fiber. It allows the disruption of the hair’s hydrogenic and salt bonds, as well as theoretically allows the inter-convention of the cysteine bonds of the hair fiber surface. After the application of the product with Pro.Liss® 100, the use of the thermal board (flat iron) with a temperature of at least 200°C and at most 230°C allows the hair to be modeled in a smooth and homogeneous way, reduces and controls frizz, determining the final result of the hairstyle.
It is an enzymotherapeutic product, because it has in its composition the pineapple enzyme, Bromelain, which is a proteolytic enzyme capable of breaking the peptide bond of proteins and peptides. Bromelain acts as a “catalyst” in the treatment process and enhances the action of the agents that make up the Dr. Therapy Enzyme Treatment formulation, boosting the results.
Dr. Therapy Enzyme Treatment was developed with the focus on the treatment recipient as well as on the professional who develops the work. It provides an approximate yield of up to 20% more than common straightening treatments, enhancing both the treatment’s final result and the professional’s profitability.
It advantageously replaces formaldehyde-based straightening treatments and has been proven to reduce hair volume and straighten hair without generating odors or smoke. Therefore, the results are very healthy for those who handle the Dr. Therapy Enzyme Treatment as well as for the people on whom the product is applied. Our treatment straightens, nourishes, hydrates and replenishes the necessary nutrients and amino acids without harming the health of all involved in the process.
It acts directly on the cortex of the hair fiber providing organic and safe straightening, breaking salt bonds and hydrogen bridges inside the fiber, distancing the disulfidic bridges, due to its high ionicity.
The cortex is a part of the hair structure that is located lobe below the cuticle layers and is the major responsible for hair strength. It is responsible for the great part of capillary mass and for a large amount of sulfur bonds, which is where the action of Dr. Therapy Enzyme Treatment occurs, rich in a very important amino acid called cystine and which enables the changes in the threads.
Bromelain is one of several compounds known as proteolytic enzymes, which aid in protein digestion. The enzyme bromelain itself is derived from the common pineapple plant, capable of breaking the peptide bond of proteins and peptides, once native to South America, now found in the Philippines, South Africa, Australia, Cuba and North America, particularly Hawaii. Bromelin supplements are now the integral constituent of most natural hair care products.
Because it acts directly on the peptide chains, it accelerates the detangling reaction in the hair’s disulfide bonds, giving new shape memory, leaving hair more aligned and up to 80% reduction in volume from the first application!
The plant’s enzyme bromelain has been endorsed by most hair product recommendations, but there is more to bromelain than hair care: in 1891, researchers identified the proteolytic enzyme bromelain, which they found in the fleshy part of the fruit. This enzyme was found to break down proteins and, as such, is still used today as a natural meat tenderizer and digestive aid. By 1957, bromelain was widely recognized and research also began in areas such as muscle and tissue inflammation, burn recovery, infection and sinus problems.
Each leaf contains a bud that, when ripe, signals that the fruit is ready to eat. Pineapple has no seeds, and as such the plants are propagated from the crown, which is planted by hand or its return to the ground naturally. When Spanish sailors visited the Pacific Islands, after eating the flesh of the fruit they would leave the crowns that would eventually grow into other plants, naturalizing this area. The leaves of the pineapple are often used as a source of a fibrous material common in the embroidery industry.
